Choose the company that’s right for YOU!

Selecting and purchasing carpet has long been a confusing task for most of us. With so many companies offering unrealistic “sale” promotions and using high pressure closing tactics, it’s difficult to do a proper comparison of providers.

Here’s a quick guide to follow:

Use the Internet to discover and research qualified providers in your area. Consider online reviews posted by previous customers to get perspective on their experience. Quality companies can be seen in multiple places such as the BBB, Angie’s List, Google and reviews on the company website. Smaller independent companies typically offer better service and are much more knowledgeable about products in general. These companies also have built relationships with their installers over a period of years and do a much better job of executing within the timeframe specified, and at a much higher level.

Larger “big box” stores outsource the estimation and installation to other companies, which diminishes their ability to give customers the individual attention they deserve. The carpet installation is crucial to how your new carpet will look and perform from day one. Only a legitimate carpet company, like P&Q Flooring, knows which of their crews is the best fit for your specific project. The vast majority of nationally advertised carpet dealers and Big Box stores do not participate in review based marketing for one reason. They just can’t compete! Far too many unsatisfied customers resulting in poor reviews and ratings.

Independent dealers also offer the advantage of employing highly trained and experienced industry consultants to help you navigate the material selection process successfully. Explaining the features and benefits of different yarn systems and the associated warranty packages. Additionally, at P&Q Flooring we never change the names of the products or hide the identity of the manufacturer. We are proud to offer selections from Mohawk, Shaw, Phenix, Masland, and Dream Weaver, among others. Because we are always competitively priced, we welcome legitimate price comparison and offer several different financing options. Our service areas include but are not limited to: Dunwoody, Sandy Springs, Alpharetta, Johns Creek, Peachtree Corners, Duluth, Decatur, Brookhaven and Doraville.

Be sure to read the following post in which we will discuss the different types of yarn systems, their features and benefits, and which one might be best for you!
